Product Description
The Sinoseen SNS-SM1292-V1.0 stereo camera combines dual-camera imaging, an integrated 6-axis IMU and SD card recording support for robot training, visual algorithm development and AI data collection.
The module provides a listed stereo video output of 5120 × 1440 at 30 fps. Global shutter imaging helps reduce the geometric distortion associated with rolling shutter capture in moving scenes, while wide-angle lenses capture more of the surrounding environment.
A USB 3.0 Type-C interface provides connectivity to compatible host systems, and the onboard SD card slot supports local recording workflows. The integrated IMU provides inertial measurements that can complement camera images in visual-inertial research and motion analysis.
Designed for integration into custom equipment, the module can be evaluated for head-mounted data collection, robot perception and fixed observation systems in environments such as warehouses and restaurants. Stereo calibration, depth processing and visual-inertial algorithms depend on the selected software and system configuration.
-
Stereo Imaging for Visual Data Collection
Dual cameras capture two viewpoints for stereo vision development and scene analysis. The listed 5120 × 1440 video mode operates at 30 fps, supporting data collection for robotics and computer vision projects.
-
Global Shutter for Moving Scenes
Global shutter capture helps preserve object geometry when the camera or subject moves. This is useful for motion analysis and visual tracking, although suitable exposure settings and lighting are still needed to control motion blur.
-
Integrated 6-Axis IMU
The built-in IMU provides acceleration and angular velocity measurements for motion analysis and visual-inertial algorithm development. Camera-to-IMU calibration and timing alignment should be established for the target application.
-
USB 3.0 Type-C Connectivity
The module uses a USB 3.0 interface with a maximum nominal link rate of 5 Gbps. The Type-C connection supports integration with compatible host equipment using a specified 5 V supply.
-
SD Card Recording Support
An onboard SD card slot supports local video recording, providing an additional option for data collection workflows. Supported cards, recording settings and control methods should be confirmed for the selected firmware.
-
Wide-Angle Scene Coverage
The supplied lens specification lists a 174° diagonal field of view, a 1.95 mm focal length and an F/2.2 aperture. Wide-angle coverage helps capture surrounding activity in compact observation and wearable camera setups.
-
Multiple Video Output Formats
Listed video output formats include MJPG, H.264 and H.265. Available resolution and frame-rate combinations depend on the selected encoding mode and firmware.
-
Compact Board-Level Design
The mechanical drawing shows an approximately 80 × 35 mm board outline. The board-level construction allows integration into application-specific housings, mounts and data collection equipment.

Established in 2016, Shenzhen Sinoseen Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in CMOS camera modules and OEM/ODM imaging solutions. Our product portfolio includes USB, MIPI and DVP camera modules, with services covering design, development, manufacturing and after-sales support.
We work with customers to translate application requirements into camera specifications, supporting projects from initial evaluation through production.
Sinoseen's documentation includes quality management records, product compliance documents, software copyrights, and utility model patents. For your camera module project, please request the current documents applicable to the selected model and configuration, including relevant CE, FCC, or RoHS documentation.
The supplied specification lists a stereo video output of 5120 × 1440 at 30 fps. The sensor effective pixel array is separately listed as 2592 × 1944. These values describe different stages of the imaging system and should not be treated as interchangeable.
The module provides stereo imaging for depth-related applications, but the supplied specification does not confirm onboard depth-map output. Depth estimation requires suitable calibration and processing software unless a specific firmware package provides this function.
The 6-axis IMU measures acceleration and angular velocity. These measurements can complement visual data in motion analysis, visual-inertial odometry and robotics research.
The provided specification does not define camera-to-camera or camera-to-IMU synchronization accuracy. If precise synchronization is required, confirm trigger behavior, timestamps and available synchronization interfaces before selecting the module.
