We introduce a USB2.0 camera module with AR0234CMOS sensor designed for various applications, including machine vision cameras, augmented reality (AR)/virtual reality (VR)/mixed reality (MR) heads Displays, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and barcode readers.
It can run at up to 120 frames per second (fps) while capturing 1080p video and single-frame images. Using this 2-megapixel sensor with its industry-leading shutter efficiency, minimizes frame-to-frame distortion in high-speed scenes, and reduces motion artifacts encountered with other image sensors, resulting in crisp images.
The module's innovative pixel architecture provides the high dynamic range required to support various lighting conditions. Low noise and improved low-light response make it suitable for industrial applications such as autonomous mobile robots and machine vision cameras, and the extended operating temperature range enables deployment in challenging outdoor conditions.
Other advanced features include: programmable ROI with on-chip histogram, automatic exposure control and 5 x 5 statistical engine, fully integrated strobe illumination control, flexible row and column skip modes and horizontal and vertical mirroring, on Windowing and pixel binning.
